Built around the project configuration
The LIEBHERR LB 20.1 brings 200 kNm-class rotary drilling capability to projects where transport, setup time, and working space matter as much as drilling performance. Its documented configurations cover Kelly drilling, continuous flight auger drilling, and double rotary work, with an optional shortened leader for restricted-height sites.
The rig's transport concept allows the folded leader and rotary drive to remain with the base machine in the documented low-loader arrangement. This makes the model a useful compact counterpart to heavier piling rigs when a project requires a smaller site footprint without moving into the anchor or micropile class.
