Built around the project configuration
The Kalmar DCG160-12 is a heavy-duty diesel counterbalance forklift for steel, timber, precast products and demanding cargo-handling operations. Its 16,000 kg rating is defined at a 1,200 mm load centre, supporting loads whose depth and centre of gravity extend beyond the geometry of a standard industrial pallet truck.
The reviewed configuration combines a 5,000 mm duplex mast, fork-positioning carriage, dual driven front wheels and a Cummins Stage V engine. A powershift transmission, wet-disc service brakes and an enclosed operator cabin support repeat handling across industrial yards, terminals and production facilities, while the final mast, forks and attachment must be matched to the actual load.
